Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Red Edition Launched @ INR 14,999

Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi has launched a new Red Edition of the Redmi Note 5 Pro. The phone was promised for the Indian markets a long time ago and the company has delivered on its promise. This marks the offering of a fifth colour in the lineup, which is already available in Black, Blue, Gold, and Rose Gold colours. All the other colours were launched earlier this year. For the Red Edition, the company has offered the phone with a front finished in black and the back and sides finished in red.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with a 5.99-inch Full HD+ 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by the Snapdragon 636 chipset. The phone has a hybrid dual SIM slot and sports a 4GB RAM or 6GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage. The camera setup on the phone remains the same as the other colours, with a rear setup housing a 12-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel secondary camera while the front setup has a 20-megapixel camera.

The price of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is INR 14,999 for the 4GB RAM variant and INR 16,999 for the 6GB RAM variant. The phone has officially gone on sale on mi.com and will be available on Flipkart quite soon.
