Quite recently, the specification list of the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro was leaked online. Taking things a step further, AliExpress has listed the phone on its website too, quite a lot of time before the official launch. The earlier leak of the specifications made it quite clear that the phone will just be a minor upgrade over the previous generation. The 6.26-inch display will now have a notch at the top bringing the aspect ratio of the phone to 19:9 and the resolution to 2280×1080 pixels. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 636 chipset and will have an option between 3GB and 4GB of RAM, which will be configured with 32GB and 64GB of internal storage, respectively.
There are dual cameras on both sides of the phone, bringing a 12MP primary lens and 5MP secondary lens at the rear and a 20MP primary lens and 2MP secondary lens at the front. The phone will run on Android 8.1 Oreo with the MIUI 10 skin on top. The Redmi Note 6 Pro will have dual SIM card support with the second slot being a hybrid one, also supporting a microSD card up to 128GB. The phone will have a 4000mAh battery providing it with the much-needed juice. The Redmi Note 6 Pro listed on AliExpress shows that the price of the phone will be somewhere around $200 which converts to roughly INR 14,570 for the 3GB/32GB variant for the Indian markets.
