Xiaomi has recently announced its Redmi Note 9S smartphone which is the global version of the Note 9 Pro that was launched in India a few days back. It features similar specifications that include a 6.67-inch FHD+ LCD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The smartphone is powered by an Octa-core Snapdragon 720G 8nm chipset with Adreno 618GPU. It runs on Android 10 with MIUI 11.
For optics, the Note 9S gets a quad rear camera setup. It gets a 48MP primary rear camera with a Samsung GM2 sensor, an 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP 2cm macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, it has a 16MP selfie camera. The smartphone gets a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack, and dual microphones.
The Note 9S comes in a pack with a 5020mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. The smartphone is available in three colours: Interstellar Grey, Aurora Blue, and Glacier White. As part of the Mi Fanfest, Xiaomi will offer the smartphone at USD 199 for the 4GB+64GB internal storage variant whereas USD 239 for the 6GB+128GB version through a two-day online flash sale on Ali express on April 7-8, 2020.
