ZTE Hawkeye, the winner from ‘Project CSX’ competition has been listed on Kickstarter and seems going on the right track towards production. The phone carries an impressive adhesive case that sticks to nearly every kind of surface around us. Not just that, it even comes with eye tracking functionality, enabling the user to keep his fingers or even hands free from the touchscreen while moving the content in the direction of the eye movement. This could be very useful in the coming times as it promotes human multitasking.

CSX stood for Crowd Source X and this project included voters form 176 countries, deciding which new technology should be pushed into the ready to use smartphone of 2017. Currently, they are accepting $199 for this phone and its adhesive case while its even the choice of the viewer that he/she can make a pledge without the final reward. They will ship the device before its available to the public and can be shipped to any country around the world. Hawkeye is an amazing value for money product that brings technology to your doorsteps.

The prototype carries a 5.5 inch, full HD display, 2 GHz Octa Core Snapdragon 625 processor, 3 GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. The memory can be expanded up to 256 GB through microSD card slot. It runs on Android 7.0 and uses 8 MP front camera for tracking the eye movement and doing the same on the phone. The rear camera used on the Hawkeye is 13 MP + 12 MP units with dual tone LED flash. The phone even comes with a fingerprint sensor. The images seen till date are supporting a single rear camera.

ZTE Hawkeye gets 3000 mAh battery with quick charge option while weighs 185 grams. The colors for the phone are to be selected through voting on the same website. The phone can be pre-ordered on Kickstarter for $199 (INR 13520 approx) and can be expected only after September 2017. The ability of the phone to stick to any surface can help people do anything while working on their phone side by side. Even the eye tracking can bring ease in reading text and browsing applications on the phone.
