Meet TVS Draken-Inspired Apache RTR 200 Premium Street Version

TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is undoubtedly the most value for money product around its segment. It comes with a price tag of INR 97,005 (ex-showroom Delhi) and is in fact more popular in South Asian markets than the Indian market. TVS currently exports the fuel injected version to Indonesia while carburetor fed version is sold in India. One such Apache RTR 200 was spotted in Indonesia, carrying premium equipment and particular highlights for improving its overall stance. The stock shade of Matt Grey was kept in place.


The motorcycle comes with Red inserts on its fuel filler, tank scoops, brake calipers, foot pegs and side panels. The front gets Golden finished upside down forks (USD forks) while rear suspension is kept the same as the stock unit. The smaller front disc is replaced with two bigger petal disc brakes on the Apache RTR 200. The headlight on the same gets a TVS Draken inspired wrap while an extra wide rear wheel makes the bike even better than ever. The owner has even a different set of alloy wheels with even wider front rubber.


TVS Apache RTR 200 is powered by a 197.75 cc, single cylinder engine producing 20.23 BHP at 8500 rpm and 18.1 Nm at 7000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox while the motorcycle is good for 127 kmph of top speed. The 149 kg motorcycle comes with a 12 liter fuel tank and claims impressive 180 mm of ground clearance. This typical Indonesian RTR 200 even comes with a custom free flow exhaust for added performance. The fuel injected version is good for 20.73 BHP and 18.1 Nm of torque.
