Fans may find it hard to guess which bike was this before it went into the hands of Grewal Customs. Equipped with those dual rear springs (SNS) as its proof of identity, this typical Bajaj CT100 got itself an unbelievable transformation. It feels like a mini BMW R nineT Scrambler and goes by the name Bajaj CT100 Brat USA Edition.
A fully practical option to own, CT100 Brat is affordable, stylish and light on your pocket when it comes to fuel cost. Powered by the same 99.27cc, single cylinder engine as stock CT100, Brat USA Edition produces 8.1 BHP at 7500 rpm and 8.05 Nm at 4500 rpm. This makes it good for long intervals in refilling and thus, no hole in your wallet.
Tyres from CT100 were replaced with bigger units that have thicker treads and better contact with the surface. Still, keeping spoke wheels limited the use these tyres as they are tube type by nature. Grewal Customs painted the wheels Black for better looks and not just that, almost every part under the tank level was finished in Black.
The fuel tank is a huge custom unit painted in White and carrying 3-stripe BMW inspired decals on its top. Battery area is hidden neatly under a Black panel while ribbed Scrambler style seat further improves the overall rear end feel of this Bajaj CT100. They have used a custom exhaust for roaring exhaust note and typical custom bike looks.
Front and rear fenders are almost non-existent on CT100 Brat USA Edition while its front now comes with custom instrument console and round headlight. The cost of modification can be discussed directly with Grewal Customs while one can buy a CT100 under a tight budget of INR 40,000 in India. Choosing the one with self start and alloy wheels may not be a feasible choice if you wish to own a Brat USA Edition.
