The Black Hawk: Custom Royal Enfield Bullet with KTM Essence

Meet Custom Royal Enfield Bullet Black Hawk: The city beautiful, Chandigarh presents another awesome creation, this time by a PEC Mechanical Engineering graduate, Tarunpreet Singh. He modified his own Royal Enfield Bullet 350 into a Scrambler, which seems to have lost a lot of weight from the original Bullet 350.

He claims that the bike uses components from 3 other bikes namely KTM RC 390, RE Thunderbird and even RE Classic. Apart form these, a host of custom parts have also been used on the motorcycle.

Along with Madhav Kad and Dilraj Singh Mand, the owner of Black Hawk went through lot of challenges to complete his priced possession. The motorcycle uses a custom round front LED headlight plus the USD forks and front disc brake have been sourced from KTM RC 390The Black Hawk features a shortened exhaust and chopped off rear fender. The seat has also been chopped in order to provide that rough horse saddle feel.

Studying for years about machines and mechanisms, Tarunpreet went forward by fitting a RE Thunderbird’s fuel tank and bought tyres with thicker treads from Sec 21, Chandigarh.

The engine was powder coated and paint-job was finished, even painting those rims black for the true Black Hawk definition. Keeping the RE legacy alive, the symbol as well as pin striping was carefully restored.

Tarunpreet felt very bad when he had no job offer within the campus placement drive but now feels proud that the time he got was worth everything.

Black Hawk uses the stock RE engine with no performance upgrades while chopping the rear end resulted in the placement of number plate on the left side of the motorcycle. Even the bike lock has been placed at a unique place.
