Royal Enfield Spain recently presented a marvel of their personal collection to the world. Classic 500 Green Fly, as the name suggests, is a bare bone custom Classic 500 that has been painted Green for that enhanced appeal.
The motorcycle has been created by Jesus de Juan. The neat and impressive look makes it inline with the Mo’Powa and Dirty Duck versions of the Classic 500. Both were showcased in 2016 at Wheels and Waves, France. Green Fly is not road legal yet.
Custom Classic 500 Green Fly by Royal Enfield Spain
The typical off-road machine uses the frame of Continental GT. It looses both the springs at the rear and gets a replacement mono-shock that’s sightly on the left side of the frame. Green Fly’s seat ends before the diameter of the rear rim starts on the machine.
It uses a custom exhaust system and gets thick, off-road tyres on both the ends. The front wheel is 140 section while the rear used is 150 mm. Alloy wheels are even painted Green on the motorcycle.
Classic 500’s engine used here must have got some modifications as well but they are not yet revealed by the builder. The front section gets USD forks and negligible headlight unit on the Green Fly.
Front disc brake is replaced with a petal unit on the motorcycle while rear has been sourced from the Continental GT itself. The engine compartment is finished in Black while the weight loss scheme on the Green Fly seems really effective.
