Awesomely Customized Yamaha RX 100 by Ornithopter Moto Design

Ornithopter Moto Design is back with something that may bring smile of street specific bikers of India. Have you ever looked for a lightweight machine that performs so good that bigger bikes feel shy before racing? We think you will find the right match with this skillfully Customized Yamaha RX100. First, the name is enough in itself to prove that weight plays an important role in riding and more important than that, this typical example has went under the scissor to get as lean as possible. It looks smart and will definitely take on rough roads with equal interest.

We must say, this one is good for two people at a time or else they would have chopped the rear half of this frame to lose few more kilograms behind the rear suspension. They have redesigned the fuel tank to achieve exclusivity while handlebar in now placed right over the top of front forks (aka clip-ons). This will help in handling improvement but rider will now need to go quite low in order to ride this RX100. Still, long flat seat with ribbed texture keeps a minimum comfort level alive for the rider. Fuel tank used here is finished in Yellow/Matte Grey shade.

Ornithopter Moto Design is using thick tread, 100/90-18 tyres at both ends for optimum grip and all terrain capability. Front headlight is replaced with this small round LED light enclosed in black casing that matches the overall matt black character. Front and rear rim, along with the engine components, are also finished in matt black for excellent lower half finish. They are using K&N filters for increased air flow while engine has not yet been tuned for added performance. Yamaha RX100 is powered by a 98cc, single cylinder engine producing 11 BHP at 7500 rpm and 10.39 Nm at 6500 rpm.
