Hero Honda Splendor, the most loved commuter of all time can be seen here in the cruiser guise by Full Throttle Customs (FTC). The modifier has worked extensively on the Splendor as no component other than the engine, alloy wheels, and suspension looks similar to the stock motorcycle.
The fuel tank has been replaced with a peanut design tank while the seat now flows in a different design in comparison to the thin seat of the stock model. The alloy wheels feature matching pinstripes while the same shade can also be found on handlebar levers and the headlight casing.
The exposed frame of the Splendor KEYSER cruiser motorcycle is compensated by the leather bag to some extent but still, the small engine casing is visible through the empty area. The side panels have been replaced with the custom FTC-branded panels while the rear now features a wide tyre and a different fender when compared to the standard version.
The stock model’s dual-pod console has been replaced with a single-pod chrome-finished instrument console while the turn indicators are now different with typical arrow signals in them. The front tyre stays the same as the stock model of the Spendor and thus, the plain pattern comes into action. The bike also retains the front and rear suspension components.
The Splendor KEYSER cruiser motorcycle is powered by a 97.2cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, producing maximum power of 8.2HP @ 8000 rpm and a peak torque of 8.05Nm @ 5000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 4-speed gearbox.
The 109kg motorcycle seems to lose some weight here as the front fender of this modified Splendor has been chopped. According to Full Throttle Customs, the approximate modification cost of this Hero Honda Splendor is INR 60,000. You can contact the modifier for further details and inquiries.
