The beautiful custom-built motorcycle you see here is based on a 1994 Suzuki Shogun, leaving the basic profile behind for this modern cafe racer design with parts that are exclusive in comparison to other modified bikes of this class. The motorcycle has been perfectly modified by JEDI Customs (Mumbai).
The stock model of the Suzuki Shogun features a basic design made through huge panels around the seats and a commuter style fuel tank. On the other hand, the Shogun cafe racer by JEDI customs features a slim fuel tank that flaunts dedicated knee recess and high-gloss paint finish. The frame is totally naked with a custom-made grille for one section and engine protector around the belly section.
The basic black seat of the stock motorcycle has been replaced with a ribbed brown seat that sits perfectly within the frame dimensions. The exhaust unit seen here is also completely black and has been raised to protect the same from the hazards of the bad roads. The wheels have been kept spoke-type for niche cafe racer fans while fenders are now shorter-than-ever with grippy tires for impressive ride quality.
The ground clearance for the Suzuki Shogun cafe racer is also very impressive, all thanks to the custom suspension setup with integrated mono-shock for the rear and thick, golden-finished upside-down forks with long travel at the front. The clip-on style handlebar and round front headlight setup complete the package.
JEDI Customs have used performance air filter and custom exhaust to improve the performance on the lightweight motorcycle. The stock model of the Suzuki Shogun is powered by a 108.2cc, two-stroke engine, producing 14BHP of maximum power at 8500 rpm and 11.4Nm @ 8250 rpm. The values are comparable to the present-day power output of KTM 125 Duke. The bike weighs 114kg in stock condition but the cafe racer by JEDI Customs is much lighter for sure. Getting 100kph of top speed from the custom-built motorcycle is not that tough for an experienced rider.

This is what the JEDI Customs have to say about their latest creation: “Built on a rickety 1994 Suzuki shogun is our old-school cafe racer with a modern touch. Typical cafe racer tank and a straight seat give it the much-needed cafe racer soul. The spoked rims and the retro colour combo add to the old-school details. Leather seats and dual headlamp do justice to the build. USD forks and mono suspension in the rear with LED lights give the bike a modern touch. The performance of the motorcycle has been tweaked with upjetted carb and BMC air filter. The lightweight cafe racer is just about what you need to zoom on the south Mumbai roads at night”.
