Meet 200cc KTM 'BikeWithGirl' Edition by Autologue Design

KTM Duke 200 is one of the best buys in the street segment of bikes in the Indian markets. The primary reason behind its popularity is that people love the performance of the Duke 200 and it is also a modification-friendly motorcycle. Autologue Design, one of the well-known brand names in India, has recently unveiled a modified version of Duke 200 and the customizers have christened it as BWG 200 (BikeWithGirl 200).

The body kit of this perfectly modified Duke 200 is claimed to feature 80% 3D-printed parts. Autologue Design has recently also uploaded a quick video of KTM BWG 200 featuring the vlogger Priyanka Kochhar, who is popularly known as ‘BikeWithGirl’ on YouTube. Here is the official video of BWG 200:

The entire customization process of this typical KTM Duke 200 has been carried out by a professional team at Autologue Design, based in Pune, Maharashtra. Autologue Design is a quite familiar name when it comes to bolt-on body kits or unique bolt-on body parts. To date, they have worked on almost all of the popular motorcycles existing in the 200cc-400cc segment in India.

Coming back to the KTM BWG 200, when the design of the bike was looking good on the screens, the files were transferred over to a 3D printer to create the moulds for the body parts. According to the details available, the body parts have been made out of Fibre Reinforced Plastic (FRP).

This method ensures that the parts are an exact fit for the bike with stock mounting points used. These parts can be made again from moulds as many times as the modifier wants, and the alternative materials can be used to create the final product.

The front cowl of the KTM BWG 200 is made of plastic, while the fuel tank and the host of other parts have been made from fibre-reinforced plastic along with the tail section. The badging on the fuel tank is also a 3D-printed part, and the customizers also added a little flair by equipping the motorcycle with an analogue nautical compass. It has been housed on the right-hand side of the fuel tank lid, and we must mention that it is a very cool and interesting addition by Autologue Design.

Priyanka Kochhar, the vlogger, herself visited the Autologue Design workshop to add on a few more details to the BWG 200 and the big change was in the colour of the bike. On her request, most of the body parts have been painted Rossa Corsa Red for a taste of Italy on this bike. The motorcycle further features a fully customized seat in black/brown colour scheme while the seat height has also been raised a little bit when compared to the stock version of the KTM Duke 200.

Some of the other key highlights of KTM BWG 200 include the likes of a circular all-LED headlight featuring a black mesh grille for added protection and an all-new taillight including a replacement number plate bracket. The stock tyres of the motorcycle have also been replaced with a new set of scrambler-style tyres with a thick tread pattern for better traction.

Another eye-catching design element on the KTM BWG 200 is the plastic rear wheel featuring custom logos making this modified version of Duke 200 a pure head-turner. It seems to be inspired by the Rok Bagoroš’ custom-built Duke 250 stunt bike.

The Autologue Design team has also added a set of custom fenders to make the motorcycle look slim in comparison to the stock model of the Duke 200. For extra protection from mud-terrain, the customizers have also equipped the BWG 200 with a sprocket guard and a bash plate. It also features a set of unique diamond-cut aluminium bar-end mirrors from Motogadget. In addition to that, the motorcycle also features a side-slung single-barrel exhaust system.

Mechanically, no changes have been made and the motorcycle continues to be powered by the same 199.5cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine, which is good for a maximum power of 25 HP @ 10,000 rpm and a peak torque of 19.2 Nm @ 8000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission.

In terms of hardware components, the KTM BWG 200 continues to feature a 300mm front disc brake and a 230mm rear disc brake, which are further mated to a single-channel ABS unit. The suspension duties of the bike are handled by WP-sourced USD front forks and a monoshock absorber at the rear end.
