Brat bike lovers will feel blessed to have Royal Enfield Electra 350 Brave between them. This one is based on a 2007 model, making it special for fans who loved the old Bullet Electra engine in place of UCE unit.
Mechanical engineer Virendra Bhakte feels fully alive when his hands are messed up with grease and this thought motivated him for a complete rebuilt for 350cc RE Electra. Every visible part is hand-built, starting from its peanut tank and covering everything from fender to even spoke rims. Both ends use 110/90-19 inch rubber for best riding experience while exhaust duty is now in the hands of a custom chrome unit.
Handlebar on ‘Brave’ is keystone type while front headlight seems to be the one used on Thunderbird 350. Royal Enfield’s basic frame stays untouched and same stays true for its front and rear brakes. Virendra is using a single, thin seat layout that helps him keep the fender length under control.
Paint scheme is actually inspired from Redditch Edition as he says his favorite combination is Red with Black. Using K&N air filter, he even increased the airflow for better performance. The stock model of Royal Enfield Electra 350 is powered by a 346cc, single cylinder engine producing 19.8 BHP and 28 Nm of torque.
The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Presently, it comes priced at INR 1.27 lakh and offers front disc brake as well as electric starter as standard. ‘Brave’ was built by keeping a strict budget in mind and thus, fancier parts were given a miss as per the customer’s requirement.
