We come across major motorcycle modifications from time to time but some unique customizations stick with us and are worth a mention. One such motorcycle modification we came across recently has been done by K-Speed (Thailand) on the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.

One of the best things that set this modification apart is the repositioning of the instrument panel near the engine. The factory-fitted instrument console has been placed by the customizers in a vertical position just near the motorcycle engine.

Taking inspiration from the Triumph Scrambler, the modification done to the RE Interceptor 650 features the same exhaust setup. The twin Diablo pipes have been covered with heat shielding material that protects the rider’s skin while the round exhaust ends further offer the motorcycle a unique appeal.

The modifiers opted for a muscular stance for the motorcycle by equipping it with massive off-road tyres on either side. The 130/60 tyres at both sides have been mated to blackened-out rims. The engine box has been further offered a shield while the custom side panels feature mesh openings.

The customizers have offered LED lighting set up at the front while the redesigned single-seat saddle further adds to the aggressive stance of the Royal Enfield Inter Scrambler 650. A large custom-pipe handlebar has replaced the standard unit while the switchgear setup has also been tweaked with the one with much simpler functionality. The overall blackened-out components add to its surreal beauty.

The customizers have not offered any mechanical changes to the motorcycle. The modified Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 continues to be powered by a 648cc parallel-twin, 4-stroke, fuel-injected engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 47HP @ 7250 rpm and a peak torque of 52 Nm @ 5250 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It continues to feature the same disc brakes at either end while the standard suspension setup has also been retained.
