Meet Harley-Davidson Softail-Based Spirit Motorcycle

Motorcycle customizations are the day-to-day recurrences in this era though certain worthy customizations need to be showcased to the world and the recently customized Spirit Motorcycle from Smoked Garage, Indonesia is one of them. The out-of-the-box design language that has been imparted to the Harley-Davidson Softail is a vision to look at.

The customizers have christened the motorcycle as ‘Spirit’ which has been specifically customized to showcase at the Suryanation Motorland event in Jakarta. It is one of the biggest custom motorcycle events in the East. The show organisers were keen to represent a motorcycle that would blow the audience’s mind off and that is exactly what was offered to them by Smoked Garage. The customization has been carried out at their unit in Bali where the team of 15 designers and fabricators conjoined their efforts in building something extraordinary.

The Neo Board Tracker that has been customized has stripped away every essence of the Harley-Davidson Softail that no one can recognize the base machine. The customizers required a total of three months for the final product. The only thing that is left behind in the custom motorcycle is the stock 1340cc engine that is capable of churning out 76Nm of peak torque.

The designers have opted for a futuristic frame for the custom machine that has been designed with steel tubing surrounded by lots of chrome detailing. The old school rigid frame has been equipped with a hardtail rear setup while the single-seat has been imparted a free-flowing outlook mated to linkage-based suspension.

One of the most worthy custom approaches that have been imparted to the body panels is the addition of 26-inch rims that have been equipped with Shinko 777 cruiser rubber. The wheels further feature hollow hubs which have been mated to 20-inch disc brakes. The rear of the custom motorcycle has been equipped with a single disc while the front features a dual-disc setup, mated to customized callipers.

The clip-on handlebar unit has replaced the stock handlebar on the customized Spirit Motorcycle while the LED lights that have been equipped inside the wheels change the illumination in different riding modes and the cornering angles. The addition of red LEDs to the rims compliments the whole custom fuel tank design while adds the much needed “suave” to make the entire customization sound worthy.
