An existing Suzuki Gixxer owner turned his street fighter into the fully faired Gixxer SF through the stock parts that were used on the faired bike. Abdul Hameed from Chennai brought his Gixxer in October 2014 and at that time, the SF version was not on sale officially.
He loved his Red shade and didn’t wish to have one from the given shades of MotoGP Blue, Black and Flashy Red. He was not even interested in the new SP Edition and finally planned to convert his naked street fighter into Gixxer SF.
The journey started when he went to a fabrication shop and got the front frame adjusted for the new parts. Most Suzuki dealerships were not ready to fit those parts in the early stages as they said it is not possible at all.
After going through his new frame at the front, the dealership helped him place the fairing on the body. The parts bought were painted in Stock White and were painted Red to match the original shade of the bike. Abdul spent a total of INR 17,000 to get all the parts ready and modify his Gixxer to look like a stock version of Gixxer SF.

Suzuki Gixxer duo use the same 154.9 cc, single cylinder engine producing 14.6 BHP at 8000 rpm and 14 Nm at 6000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox while the company claimed top speed for the same is 115 kmph. The faired version claims a higher top speed at 127 kmph.
The aerodynamic advantage of the same makes it better than the naked version in terms of top speed while ride in weight makes the naked Gixxer better in acceleration terms. Congratulations to the owner of this unique Gixxer SF and thanks for sharing all the details and photos with us.
