Inline3 Custom Motorcycles is undoubtedly one of the finest artist when it comes to strict modifications on everyday motorcycles in India. They are back with their Tony 535 and this time, the fusion has got some serious participants. Fans would love to know that Tony is made by using elements from 3 most talked about brands in the country. They are Yamaha, Royal Enfield and KTM.
The mission was to built something that could carry the legacy of all these brands and specifically, it was to be built around the Yamaha’s most popular chassis. Deltabox, the frame that underpins the famous Yamaha R15, is the ultimate base for the construction of Tony. Apart from the same, performance parts like front suspension and brakes are sourced from KTM.
As the builder describes, ultimate pain was handled when they started looking for a fair Royal Enfield 535cc Continental GT engine. After getting one, they started working on the mounts for fixing the same within the Yamaha chassis. The swingarm was sourced from Thunderbird while the WP shock from KTM was fitted inside the Deltabox frame in the meantime. The tyres are Michelin 110 and 140 section for front and rear respectively.
The petrol tank design was custom selected while British Racing Green theme was finished after fixing everything else on Tony. Royal Enfield engine used here comes with forged Wossner piston, performance valves and cams, power commander ECU from Hitchcock Motorcycles, UK. The engine performance was enhanced to meet the requirement for this ultra useful chassis.
Tony is actually mean, lean, thin and totally performance focused as Inline3 never believed in putting extra parts for the beautification of the machine to the next level. It delivers around 34 Hp of maximum power from the custom built engine components. They got the chance to showcase the same at ‘The Handbuilt Motorcycle Show’ in Texas but could not do so due to visa issues.
