Triumph Speed Triple Frank Edition by Classified Moto

Triumph Speed Triple is one unconventional piece of art that proves speed in its name is present for a right reason. The quick, street friendly street fighter is like no other (except Street Triple), building its own identity through twin headlights, thin tail section and outstanding riding posture. Classified Moto recently made this amazing Speed Triple ‘Frank’ and that too with thumbs up opinion from the public. John Ryland must be proud of his work as demand for his custom built motorcycles saw a huge shot after Frank became a celebrity in motorcycle world. What makes Frank so unique? Let’s find it out.

A regular bug eyed Speed Triple would not carry these twin round headlights, one out of which carries a Yellow glass. A small rear view mirror is used on the left hand side of handlebar while this single flat seat makes it sure that Frank is ridden solo on all kinds of surfaces. Was Speed Triple made for variable surfaces? Not in stock condition.

Still, Frank was willing to taste the roads that would have been on its cousin Triumph Tiger list. That resulted in extra large rear wheel, almost derived from an off-road car and fitted at the rear through a fully custom built swing-arm. Frank comes with under seat exhaust, custom finished visible frame and a beautiful fabric finished fuel tank. They just used one custom exhaust unit while no changes were made to its engine components.

The 1050cc, three cylinder engine on the motorcycle is good for 125 BHP at 9300 rpm and 104.82 Nm at 7800 rpm. While the stock version was good for 214 kg, Frank’s weight stayed undisclosed. It seems to have gained weight with that huge ATV tyre at the rear end and Kenda dual purpose front tyre. Still, Frank can carry 17.5 liter of petrol and uses the stock suspension as well as braking components.
