DC Design recently posted two digital sketches of their upcoming modified Mahindra Thar project. The car receives loads of modifications on all the sides, turning the rough off-road machine into a fashion icon through their new kit. DC Thar comes with a redesigned bumper, integrating LED fog lights and squared front windscreen. The lower end of the front bumper gets additional designing for added appeal. The wheel arch at the front remains sharp while rear gets a circular wheel arch.
Awesomely Modified Mahindra Thar by DC Design
The hard top version on the DC Mahindra Thar gets sharp door design and studded glass on the upper end. The roof is finished in Grey while the rear glass even gets placed in sync with the fixed side windows. Spare wheel is fixed at the stock position while C shaped LED lights are placed on both the sides. The redesigned Thar looks more like a modern version of current generation Thar. It looks catchy as the modifications made on the car helps it gain a unique identity.
Mahindra Thar also gets off-road friendly tyres with bigger rims on the DC version. It is powered by two engine options in its stock condition. The 2498 cc, four cylinder turbo diesel engine is good for 105 BHP at 3800 rpm and 247 Nm at 1800-2000 rpm. The gearbox on offer is 5-speed while the stock ground clearance is 200 mm. The second engine is the older DI unit and comes without any of the upgrade like air conditioner, new dashboard and redesigned bumper. DC Design has not yet revealed the complete details and price for this kit for Mahindra Thar. We will be updating this article with more details soon. Watch this Space!
