MV Agusta Brutale 800 has been officially launched in India for INR 15.59 lakh (ex-showroom Pune). Customers can book the motorcycle by paying INR 4 lakh of token amount to MotoRoyale dealers.
The 2017 variant is sharper than ever, carrying the MV Agusta specific triple exhaust pipes, chiseled fuel tank, all new headlamps and aggressive taillight. The aerodynamically efficient design, along with the new aluminum sub-frame, helps the rider achieve higher performance levels from the same engine segment.
Brutale 800 uses a 798cc, inline three cylinder engine producing 109 HP and 83 NM of torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox that gets slipper clutch and quick-shifter as standard. The older 2015 version produced around 125 HP.
MV Agusta offers further electronic sophistication through eight level traction control and anti-lock braking system. Once a customer pays the booking amount, it will take anything between 6-8 weeks for the delivery.
Even after carrying 800cc segment motor, the price of Brutale falls right in the category of Kawasaki Z1000 and BMW R1200R. The bigger engines are more powerful and hence, MV Agusta will get a limited number of buyers for this segment.
It comes out as an expensive option but exclusivity associated with this brand cannot be bought from any other in India. They even have the performance specific Brutale 800 RR on their launch charts this year. MV Agusta currently retails Brutale, F3 and F4 series of bikes in India.
