By Hyundai has finally launched the much-awaited 2023 model of the Verna sedan in India today. Bookings for the 2023 Verna have already surpassed 8,000 in the Indian markets. The updated Verna is available in four trim levels: EX, S, SX, and SX (O). Prices start at Rs 10.89 lakh ex-showroom.
Atlas White, Titan Grey, Typhoon Silver, Fiery Red, Tellurian Brown, Abyss Black, and Starry Night – These are among the nine colours available on the Verna. Hyundai also offers two dual-tone colour options: Fiery Red with Abyss Black and Atlas White with Abyss Black.
The Hyundai Verna comes with a three-year/unlimited-kilometre warranty that can be extended to seven years. The prices mentioned in this article are introductory, ex-showroom prices for the new Hyundai Verna for a limited time.
The base Hyundai Verna EX variant starts at Rs 10.89 lakh for the MT petrol NA. The Verna S MT costs Rs 11.95 lakh. The SX MT costs Rs 12.98 lakh and the SX IVT auto costs Rs 14.23 lakh. The Verna SX(O) MT costs Rs 14.65 lakh, and the IVT auto costs Rs 16.19 lakh.
The 2023 Hyundai Verna turbo variants start at Rs 14.83 lakh for SX 6MT and Rs 16.08 lakh for SX DCT. The top model Turbo Verna SX(O) 6MT costs Rs 15.99 lakh, while the DCT option costs Rs 17.38 lakh.
The 2023 Verna is only available with petrol engine options. Diesel Verna is no longer available. It has a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine that produces a max power of 115 HP and a peak torque of 144 Nm. A 1.5-litre turbo engine with a max power of 160 hp and a peak torque of 253 Nm is also available. There are 3 transmission options: a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed intelligent variable transmission, and a 7-speed DCT. The new model of Hyundai Verna competes in the market with the likes of Honda City, Skoda Slavia, Volkswagen Virtus, and the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz.
