Kawasaki has officially launched the MY2023 of the ZH2 and ZH2 SE in the Indian market. These motorcycles cost Rs 23.02 lakhs for the standard model and Rs 27.22 lakhs for the SE variant. Both prices are ex-showroom India.
These are the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer’s flagship supercharged models. The bikes themselves appear to be unchanged in all aspects except aesthetics in the 2023 update. This year, both bikes will be available in a single new colour called ‘Metallic matte graphene steel Gray’. Except for the price, everything else remains the same. Power, torque, frame, underpinnings, features, etc are all the same.
A 998cc, in-line 4, supercharged engine powers both the Kawasaki machines. This engine produces a max power of 200 PS at 11,000 RPM and 137 Nm of peak torque at 8500 RPM. The 998cc engine comes with a 6-speed transmission system.
Some of the highlights include Electronic Cruise Control and Brembo M4.32 front brake callipers for Z H2, Brembo-style front brake callipers for Z H2 SE, Electronic Throttle valves, Assist & Slipper Clutch, and Integrated Riding Modes. Both bikes feature an all-digital TFT colour instrumentation and smartphone connectivity via RIDEOLOGY APP.
Electronic aids include Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS) and Kawasaki Electronic control suspension (KECS). It has KECS (Kawasaki Electronic Control Suspension) with Showa’s Skyhook Technology (Only in Z H2 SE).
Kawasaki Launch Control Mode (KLCM) and Kawasaki Cornering Management Function (KCMF), Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock brake system (KIBS), Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC), and IMU: Enhanced chassis orientation awareness is also there.
