The Toyota Innova Crysta has emerged from hibernation, and it has been relaunched in the Indian market. Its 2.4L 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine was rumoured to have failed to meet the emission standards submitted during the launch, and now, the brand has put an end to this rumour by reintroducing the Innova Crysta.
The Innova Crysta starts at Rs. 19.13 for the base G variant. The price is the same as when it was discontinued last year. For now, the prices for the G and GX entry-level variants have been revealed while the price of the VX and top-tier ZX variants has not been disclosed yet.
The base variant of the 2023 Innova Crysta G costs Rs 19.13 lakh, while the GX variant costs Rs 19.99 lakh. These are the prices for the 7-seater model, with the 8-seater model costing Rs 5,000 more.
There is no gasoline engine, and there is no automatic transmission. The majority of the features found on the previous Crysta have been retained. The Innova Crysta has seven airbags as well as front and rear parking sensors. It has vehicle stability control, electronic brake distribution (EBD), ABS, hill assist control, brake assist, and 3-point seatbelts.
The driver is provided with an 8-way power adjustable seat and keyless entry. Like before, it has climate control and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The second-row seats include rear AC vents with a digital display. It also has ambient lighting, a seat back tray, and leather seats with the option of black or tan leather.
A 2.4L turbo diesel 4-cylinder engine is paired with a 5-speed transmission. This engine produces a max power of 150 hp and 343 Nm of peak torque. Bookings have been available since the day it was announced. Superwhite, White Pearl Crystal Shine, Silver, Avant-Garde Bronze, and Attitude Black are some of the colours available.
