2024 Kia Sonet Facelift: 5 Key Highlights Before the India Debut
Kia is gearing up to unveil the much-anticipated 2024 Kia Sonet facelift in India on December 14. This marks a significant update for the sub-4m SUV since its initial launch in mid-2020. Here are five key highlights to look forward to:
1. Striking Exterior Updates
The exterior of the 2024 Kia Sonet facelift has undergone a noticeable transformation. Key changes include a revised grille with new inserts, updated LED headlights and DRLs that extend into the bumper, a new air dam, and an updated bumper design with sleeker LED fog lamps. The sides feature new alloy wheels, and the rear showcases a new connected tail lamp inspired by the Seltos, along with a refreshed bumper.
2. Interior Refinements
While the interior updates aren’t as extensive, the new Sonet will continue with its existing dashboard layout. It retains a floating touchscreen infotainment system and an updated climate control panel. Revamped interior colors are also expected, adding a touch of freshness to the cabin.
3. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)

The introduction of new features like ADAS might lead to a slight increase in the price of the Sonet. The outgoing model starts from Rs 7.79 lakh (ex-showroom). In terms of competition, the Sonet facelift will compete with rivals such as the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, and Nissan Magnite.
