By Tata Motors is getting ready to make big changes to the Nexon soon. Both the interior and outside of the car will receive a number of cosmetic and functional improvements during the impending facelift.
Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the 2024 Nexon, and the updated SUV has been spotted testing multiple times. The latest spy shots reveal that the Nexon will get a new two-spoke steering wheel, which is inspired by the Tata Curvv concept.
This redesigned steering wheel has a rectangular panel with controls on either side and is clearly visible in the spy photos. It receives a classy piano black finish that gives the overall design a contemporary feel.
The Tata emblem is not present on the new steering wheel, which is one change. This has led to rumours that the centre part could include a digital screen or a stealth backlit logo that would light up when the engine is turned on. A larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster are anticipated for the Nexon SUV.
The new steering wheel is expected to come with a host of features. It is also expected to be equipped with a haptic feedback system, which will provide feedback to the driver when they make changes to the settings.
Tata has not yet revealed any details about the engine options for the 2024 Nexon. But it is expected to continue to offer the same 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine and the 1.5-litre diesel engine. The Nexon is also expected to get an automatic transmission option for the first time.
