The Tata Nexon makeover has been sighted many times, and it will be available for sale in August of this year. All the photographs so far have shown us the outside appearance. The first photographs of the Nexon facelift’s interior are now available. The interior of the revised Nexon, like the exterior, will be influenced by the Curvv concept car. The spy photos suggest a big interior makeover with significant improvements in equipment and quality.
Leaked photos of the Nexon facelift interior show that the modifications will be as extensive as the exterior. The most notable change is the addition of a new two-spoke, flat-bottom steering wheel. At either end of the steering wheel, there are two toggle switches and several touch-sensitive haptic buttons.
A new touch panel and toggle buttons for HVAC management have been added to the revamped centre console. Tata’s new 10.25-inch touchscreen will also be available, implying that the entire dashboard will be overhauled. This also means that quality and equipment levels may improve.
The bottom centre console area has remained intact. The drive mode selector has remained unchanged. The gear lever has been somewhat changed. The manual handbrake and wireless charger remain while the spy photographs also show a new purple upholstery for the seats.
The Nexon facelift could feature the all-new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine seen in the Curvv ICE concept. Its new engine has 125 hp and 225 Nm of torque, which is 5hp and 55 Nm more than the current engine. The Nexon facelift will keep the 1.5-litre diesel engine. No information on the Nexon facelift’s automatic transmission options is available.
The Nexon makeover might go into production as early as July 2023. The production of the Nexon EV facelift will begin around the same time. The Nexon facelift’s prices are expected to be released in August 2023.
