2024 Triumph Tiger 900 GT and Rally Pro

Triumph, the renowned motorcycle manufacturer, has recently unveiled the 2024 Tiger 900 lineup in India, featuring two exciting variants: the Tiger 900 GT and the Tiger 900 Rally Pro. These versions feature numerous enhancements, such as upgraded electronics, more power, and small design tweaks, that promise an even more thrilling and daring riding experience. Notably, the previous Tiger 900 Rally has been discontinued in both the international and Indian markets.

Enhanced Engine Performance

The standout feature of the 2024 Tiger 900 lineup is the power-packed engine. Triumph has upped the ante by equipping these bikes with an 888cc triple-cylinder engine that generates a robust 108hp at 9,500rpm and 90Nm of torque at 6,850rpm.

With an amazing 13 horsepower and 3 Nm more torque than the previous generation, this is a major increase. The new Tiger 900 is now well-positioned to compete with its rivals, particularly the Ducati Multistrada V2 and DesertX, due to this performance boost.

Upgraded Features

The 2024 Tiger 900 models have not only received a power boost but also a technological upgrade. The bikes now include a redesigned TFT (Thin-Film Transistor) dash with built-in Bluetooth connectivity in addition to providing necessary ride information. This means riders can seamlessly pair their smartphones with the bike’s display. With the ease with which riders can now access music, manage directions, and even make hands-free calls, they can travel with peace of mind and be informed.

Price Adjustment

While these upgrades undoubtedly enhance the riding experience, it’s worth noting that they come with a slight price increase. The 2024 Triumph Tiger 900 GT is priced at Rs 13.95 lakh, while the Tiger 900 Rally Pro is available at Rs 15.95 lakh. This represents a price hike of Rs 15,000 to Rs 45,000 compared to their respective predecessors. The enhanced features and performance justify the additional expense, attracting fans looking for an even better adventure riding experience.

Adjustable Seat Heights

Triumph has made further improvements by offering adjustable seat heights on both the Tiger 900 GT and Rally Pro. With its new variety of seat heights spanning from 820mm to 840mm, the GT now accommodates a wider range of riders who can reach the ground easily when seated. In contrast, the Rally Pro boasts a more commanding seat height, adjustable between 860mm and 880mm. This feature is quite helpful for riders who want to ride in difficult off-road terrain because the raised perch gives them a better perspective and more control over their bike.

The 2024 Triumph Tiger 900 GT and Rally Pro have set a new benchmark for adventure motorcycles. Riding these bikes on the open road or off-road is an exciting and varied experience due to their enhanced technology, adjustable seat heights, and better engine performance. Although there has been a modest price rise, riders looking for a more feature-rich and powerful adventure companion will find that the upgrades made to these models make the investment worthwhile.
