The launch took place recently, and the brand is quoting a price of JPY 726,000 (tax included), which is equivalent to Rs 4.40 lakh (approximately). The Yamaha R3 didn’t require a lot of componentry, therefore the MY2024 update doesn’t have a lot of upgrades for it.
The Indian auto market is particularly interested in this model since we anticipate its launch soon. When it is released, the YZF-R3 will compete against the KTM RC 390 and the Kawasaki Ninja 300 and Ninja 400. The 2024 Yamaha R3 is offered in three new colours, precisely like its predecessor, the classic Metallic Black, Deep Purplish Blue Metallic, and Dark Bluish Purple Metallic, but with new graphics and stickers.

The heart of R3 continues to beat and pulse as previously. This has a liquid-cooled, 4V head, parallel twin engine with 320cc displacement, and a DOHC system. With a 6-speed transmission, this engine produces 30 Nm of torque at 9,000 RPM and 42 PS of power at 10,750 RPM.
The componentry consists of 110/70-17 front and 140/70-17 rear tyres, as well as USD front telescopic forks and rear mono-shock. Yamaha offers twin-channel ABS and single-disc arrangements on both ends. R3 receives a digital LCD display with few features. The launch in India is expected to occur before Diwali and the 2024 model of Yamaha R3 might cost up to Rs 4 lakh (expected ex-showroom price).
