Keeway India has announced a significant price reduction for the K300R. All the colour variants came at different price tags. But now have a uniform price tag of Rs 2.65 lakh (ex-showroom). This is a reduction of up to Rs 55,000, and it takes effect on April 6, 2023. This price reduction should help the corporation increase brand sales.
The business claims that the motorcycle has gotten a positive reception in India. According to the details available, the import duties have been reduced, and as a result, the cost of importing each motorcycle unit has decreased. And the company has opted to pass on the savings to its clients. A similar price cut has been seen for the naked variant, the K300 N, which is now available for Rs 2.55 lakhs.
The K300 R is a gorgeous motorcycle designed by Pierer Mobility’s worldwide design agency KISKA. The K300 R features a front-squatting stance and aggressive cuts across its bodywork. It has a muscular fuel tank and a radical-looking front fascia. The ‘300 R’ graphics that run over its fairing only add to its visual attractiveness.
The 292.4cc liquid-cooled engine powers the Keeway K300R. This engine with a six-speed transmission delivers a max output of 27.1 bhp at 8,740 rpm and 25 Nm at 7,000 rpm. While having lesser power and torque output ratings than the KTM RC 390, the Keeway has a lightweight advantage. It weighs 165kg, which makes it 7kg less than the KTM.
This fully-faired Keeway is supported by a steel trellis frame and rides on 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends. 37mm upside-down front forks and a preload-adjustable mono-shock at the rear handle suspension. Stopping power is provided by a 292mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS. The gasoline tank of the Keeway K300 R has a capacity of 12 litres.
