This marks a pivotal update since the model’s second-generation debut in March 2020. The Creta has become a dominant player in the mid-size SUV segment, rivalling the likes of Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun. The front end will feature a modern grille, advanced LED headlamps with a split pattern, and a redesigned bumper. The side profile remains recognisable but is enhanced by new alloy wheels, while the rear end boasts updated LED taillights and a refreshed bumper, all contributing to a sleeker and more commanding presence. Inside, the 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift is expected to offer a new cabin experience with a fresh colour theme, new seat upholstery, and a fully digital 10.25-inch driver’s display. The steering wheel is set to be updated, alongside an advanced infotainment system and an improved dual-zone automatic climate control.
Exterior Refinement
One of the most anticipated aspects of the Creta facelift is its updated exterior design. Under the hood, the 2024 Creta facelift will share engine options with the 2023 Kia Seltos facelift. These include a 1.5-litre Turbo-GDi petrol engine producing 160PS and 253Nm of torque, a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with 115PS and 144Nm, and a 1.5-litre CRDi VGT diesel engine offering 116PS and 250Nm. The transmission choices are diverse, featuring a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed intelligent manual, an intelligent variable transmission, a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, and a 6-speed automatic. A standout feature of the upcoming Creta is the introduction of a new turbo petrol engine.
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
In the era of smart and connected vehicles, Hyundai is stepping up its game by incorporating Level 2 ADAS features into the Creta facelift. The integration of ADAS reflects Hyundai’s commitment to staying at the forefront of automotive technology. When the Creta facelift hits the market, it will enter a competitive landscape, facing off against formidable rivals such as the Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, MG Astor, Honda Elevate, and the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
Beyond its captivating exterior and powerful engine, the Creta facelift is expected to receive interior enhancements, offering an even more comfortable and technologically advanced cabin.
2024 Creta Facelift Design
The interesting thing about the new Creta that’s headed for the Indian market is that it will not look like the Creta facelift sold in other countries. We are expecting a different look that is in line with Hyundai’s flagship SUV models. It has been spied testing in India on multiple occasions and going by the pictures, a completely new grille, LED lighting at the front and rear, tweaked front and rear bumpers, and a set of new alloy wheels are on the cards.
2024 Creta Facelift Interior
Inside, the 2024 Creta facelift will get Level 2 ADAS, new upholstery, redesigned dashboard and centre console, and a 360-degree camera system with improved visuals. We are also expecting a newer version of Hyundai’s fully digital driver’s display to up the tech quotient.
2024 Creta Facelift Engine Options
Hyundai India is expected to run the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and diesel engine options as the current car. However, there will be a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DCT unit. Other gearbox options will include a six-speed iMT, automatic torque converter and a CVT.
