Aprilia RS440 Sports Bike Spotted Testing Again – New Photos and Details

The Aprilia RS440 has been spotted testing again, and this time, the spy shot is much closer than before. This gives us a better look at the upcoming Italian motorcycle, and we can see that it takes design inspiration from the larger RS660. The RS440 has a sharp and aggressive front end, with a split LED headlight. The side panels are heavily sculpted, and the exhaust is located under the belly rather than in the traditional side-slung position.

The Aprilia RS440 is expected to be powered by a 440cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine with an output of around 48bhp. This engine will be linked to a six-speed transmission and is likely to have a top speed of around 180 km/h.

The RS440 is also expected to feature a TFT display with smartphone connectivity. This will allow riders to connect their phones to the bike’s display and access information such as navigation, music, and calls. Other features that are likely to be included on the RS440 include ABS, traction control, and multiple riding modes.

The Aprilia RS440 will feature USD front forks and a monoshock rear suspension. This will provide the bike with a good balance of comfort and handling. The brakes on the RS440 will consist of a single front and rear disc with dual-channel ABS. This will provide the bike with excellent stopping power in all conditions.

The RS440 will ride on 17-inch alloy wheels, which are wrapped in road-oriented tires. These tires will provide the bike with good grip and handling on both dry and wet roads. The Aprilia RS440 is nearing production, according to spy shots of the test mule. The bike is expected to be officially announced later this year, and it will compete against the KTM RC 390, Kawasaki Ninja 300, and the upcoming Yamaha YZF-R3.
