Bajaj-Triumph Scrambler New Photos, Launch Date & Expected Price

The first Bajaj-Triumph motorbike will be available in the Indian markets around Diwali 2023. Bajaj Auto recently also took over Triumph’s sales and service activities in India. The impending Bajaj-Triumph scrambler model has been sighted testing in India once more.

It comes with a liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with a displacement of 300cc to 400cc. We can expect performance figures like the KTM 390 Adventure rather than the RE Himalayan. The cylinder head form supports DOHC architecture, which would imply four valves per cylinder.

The engine’s side covers are like the ones found on Triumph’s twin-cylinder Bonneville models. The dual-barrel exhaust system is still there and should be included in the finished vehicle.

This close-up shot reveals that the headstock and downtubes are made of a single component. The Bajaj-Triumph’s rear subframe will be bolt-on. The front fork is upside-down, and the mono-shock will be offset. The 19-inch front wheel will also help to improve the ride quality and stability.

The riding posture appears to be very relaxed and pleasant. The pegs are situated in the middle, and the bar sweeps back to the rider. A handlebar brace can also be seen. The pillion seat appears to be undersized, and the pillion footpegs appear to be positioned quite loosely.

One of the most significant revelations in these spy pictures is the semi-digital instrumentation. A huge analogue tachometer looks to be supplemented by a digital display. Although the LED indicators appear to be accessories, all the lights appear to be LEDs. Other things to look for include dual-channel ABS and traction control or a quick shifter.

There are several hints here that an official debut and launch of this motorbike is not far off. Price will be determined by how much displacement the engine of this bike has. We can expect it to be comparable to the KTM 390 Adventure. When it is released, you should expect it to cost roughly Rs 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.
