Honda has unveiled the highly anticipated CB1000 Hornet at EICMA 2023, signaling a bold departure from its predecessor, the CB1000R Neo Sports Cafe. The CB1000 Hornet boasts an aggressive and stylish design drawing inspiration from the Ducati Streetfighter resulting in a visually striking and attention-grabbing bike. Notable design elements include a sleek, low-slung full-LED headlamp, intricately designed fuel tank recesses, and a tail section reminiscent of the acclaimed 2017 CB1000R.
Underneath its captivating bodywork, the CB1000 Hornet shares its foundation with the formidable Fireblade, utilizing the same frame as the renowned supersport motorcycle. Propelled by a potent 999cc inline-four-cylinder engine the CB1000 Hornet delivers an impressive 150bhp ensuring an exhilarating and powerful riding experience. The motorcycle is equipped with premium hardware featuring Showa forks at the front and a Pro-Link shock at the rear both offering pre-load and rebound adjustability to cater to individual preferences.
In terms of features, the CB1000 Hornet doesn’t disappoint incorporating advanced technologies such as a throttle-by-wire system, a five-inch TFT display, and the convenience of five ride modes for a customizable and dynamic riding experience.
As Honda positions the CB1000 Hornet to replace the CB1000R Neo Sports Cafe globally, including in India, enthusiasts can anticipate its arrival in the country through Honda’s BigWing showrooms. The bike is expected to make its debut in the Indian market in 2024 offering riders a harmonious blend of cutting-edge style, high-performance capabilities, and advanced features to elevate their riding adventures.
