GPX Demon GR200R Da Corsa 2 Makes Official Debut – Price Revealed!

Thailand-based motorcycle manufacturer GPX has unveiled a new limited-edition model of its popular Demon GR200R sportbike in Malaysia. GPX is a well-known brand in Southeast Asia for its remarkable lineup of small-capacity two-wheelers. The special edition trim of the GR200R is now available in Malaysia.

The sportbike, dubbed the Da Corsa 2, is available in three colours: Daytona Black, Da Corsa Blue, and Racing Grey. On the fuel tank of each of these dual-tone paint schemes is a map of the Mugello racetrack. The entire set of decals suits the GR200R’s sleek and aggressive bodywork superbly. It appears to have received design cues from larger sportbikes such as the Yamaha R1 and the BMW S1000RR.

The GPX Demon GR200R is powered by a 198cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 19 bhp of maximum power and 17.5 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm. The engine is linked to a six-speed gearbox and drives the rear wheel.

The GR200R has a steel trellis frame and rides on 17-inch alloy wheels. The suspension is handled by upside-down forks and a mono-shock, both sourced from YSS. Braking is provided by petal-type disc brakes at both ends. The GR200R is equipped with full-LED lighting and a digital instrument cluster. The instrument cluster displays all the crucial data, such as speed, RPM, fuel level, gear indicator, and odometer.

In Malaysia, the GPX Demon GR200R Da Corsa 2 Limited Edition costs RM 12,588 (about Rs 2.21 lakh in Indian currency). Unfortunately, there is no indication that GPX plans to bring its motorcycles to India anytime soon. The Demon GR200R Da Corsa 2 is a small-sized, fully-faired sportbike aimed at young riders looking for a stylish and affordable motorcycle. It is sure to be a popular choice in Malaysia, where the demand for small-displacement sportbikes is growing.
