Google every year publishes the list of “Year in Search”, and this year too, it has published the list of 2021’s top searches. While the search engine shares the list of global searches, there is also a list of words that were searched at a high rate during the year in a particular country.

As per the report, the top searches in our country were as expected as “Indian Premier League,” “CoWIN,” and “ICC T20 World Cup.” The ‘near me’ searches throughout the year in India were mostly related to the COVID pandemics, like the COVID vaccine, COVID tests, COVID hospitals, as well as oxygen cylinders and the CT scan.
