Honda’s Most Affordable Motorcycle Launched in India at Rs 64,900

The news is that Honda will take on the Hero Splendor with a new 100cc motorcycle. In India, price of the ex showroom has been fixed as Rs 64,900 for the Honda Shine 100. The first examples with begin production next month, and it should be in dealers in May 2023, with orders opening. Honda is gunning for Splendor with Shine 100. The motorcycle, which will be new 100cc, will, however, be marketed by Honda with the Shine brand. Being Honda’s top selling motorcycle in the market, the CB Shine 125 is also the leader of the 125cc segment.

The most affordable in the Shine 100cc motorcycle is Honda’s which it has launched at a lower price of Rs 64,900. While bringing in the key USPs of Splendor, it will massively churn the entry level commuter segment.

The new Honda shine is built on a new diamond frame which is light weight and long lasting. The new 100cc Shine is expected to see Honda focusing more in rural markets. The bike might have bigger proportions than the Splendor, while still offering best in segment mileage. Both of these factors affect customer purchasing decisions in rural markets.

The new engine of 100cc itself bears both fuel injection and a solenoid. Starting the bike in any condition is extremely easy. Honda’s new 100cc bike will face competitions from Bajaj Platina 100, Hero HF 100, and TVS Star City, asides the Hero Splendor.
