Hyundai Exter Micro SUV Interior Fully Revealed – 10 Official Photos

Hyundai has revealed the interior of the Exter for the first time. The upcoming subcompact SUV has an all-black interior theme with a dashboard similar to the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.

An 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system dominates the dashboard. The system is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and it also includes a host of other features, such as a built-in navigation system, a reversing camera, and a music player.

The Exter also gets a semi-digital instrument cluster with a 4.2-inch MID. The steering wheel is similar to the one in the Grand i10 Nios. The TFT MID (Multi-Information Display) displays information such as tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), parking distance, door open, sunroof open, 10 regional languages, 2 global languages, and seatbelt reminders for all seats.

The Hyundai Exter will also receive over-the-air (OTA) updates for its infotainment system and maps. It comes equipped with 60 connected features through Bluelink, which includes safety and security, remote services, location-based services, vehicle diagnostics, and voice assistance.

Hyundai offers over 90 embedded voice commands that work even without internet connectivity. These voice commands include Hinglish commands such as “Sunroof kholo” (open sunroof), “Temperature kam karo” (decrease temperature), and more.

In addition to the features mentioned before, the Hyundai Exter also has the following:

  • H2C (Home to Car) Alexa in Hindi and English
  • Infotainment with multi-language UI support (10 regional and 2 international languages)
  • Ambient Sounds of Nature with 7 acoustic profiles

  • Cruise control
  • Dashcam

  • Auto headlamps

  • Rear parking camera

Safety features include:

  • ESC (Electronic Stability Control)
  • VSM (Vehicle Stability Management)
  • HAC (Hill Assist Control)
  • 3-point seat belt and seatbelt reminder (all seats)
  • Keyless entry
  • ABS with EBD
  • Rear parking sensors
  • ESS (Emergency Stop Signal)
  • Burglar alarm

The Exter is expected to be launched in India in the coming weeks. It will compete with other subcompact SUVs, such as the Tata Punch, Maruti Suzuki Ignis, and the Mahindra KUV100.
