The Hyundai Exter, a brand-new small SUV that has lately been sighted entirely uncovered, is the South Korean automaker’s upcoming major release.
The test mule, which displays all the external design elements, has been spotted in Seoul, South Korea. The projector headlamps are integrated into the bumper, and the front profile features a clamshell-style bonnet with H-shaped LED DRLs on top. The wide, black grille has a muscular appearance like the bigger Hyundai SUVs.
Along with the tall roof rails, the squared wheel arches emphasise the roughness in the details even more. The car’s pillars are blacked out to give the appearance of a floating roof. In these images, the ground clearance appears respectable for a small SUV. The alloy wheels receive a diamond-cut finish with parts made of lustrous black and chrome. The final design of the alloys in the production car is yet to be revealed, though.
The tail lights on the back profile likewise have an H-shaped feature. The lights have a striking resemblance to those on the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios. The dark band that connects the tail lamps appears to be modelled after the Alcazar. The overall aesthetic is clean and contemporary. However, their lineup consists of a variety of different vehicles.
Numerous components of the interior are anticipated to be shared with the Hyundai lineup’s current vehicles. With the Exter, the automaker will provide some segment-first features. It will sit underneath the Hyundai Venue and is built on the Grand i10 Nios platform. A 1.2-litre normally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine are available as options. Tata Punch will be in competition with the Hyundai Exter. Manufacturing is anticipated to start in July, and deliveries will start before the holiday season.
