Recent spy shots have revealed new details of the facelifted XUV300, which is undergoing testing.

Here are the key updates to the 2024 Mahindra XUV300 facelift:

  1. Exterior Redesign: The facelifted XUV300 features a completely redesigned front and rear. The front end boasts massive LED daytime running lights (DRLs) that occupy a significant portion of the fascia, a split front grille, a new bumper, a redesigned bonnet, and vertically-arranged projector headlamps.
  2. Rear Updates: At the rear, changes include a new boot lid, a relocated number plate housing, and new tail lamps with a connected LED bar running across the width. There’s also a roof-mounted bulb that could serve as a radar module for an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS).
  3. Interior Overhaul: The interiors have been significantly overhauled with a redesigned center console and a larger free-standing touchscreen. Expect features like dual-zone climate control, a multi-function steering wheel, power windows, a 360-degree camera, wireless phone charging, and possibly a panoramic sunroof.
  4. Digital Driver’s Display: The facelifted XUV300 may include a digital driver’s display, aligning with the trend in the sub-4m SUV segment.
  5. Engine Options: The facelifted XUV300 will retain its engine lineup, which includes a 1.2L turbo petrol engine offering 110 hp and 200 Nm or 130 hp and 250 Nm, as well as a 1.5L diesel engine producing 117 hp and 300 Nm. Transmission options include 6-speed manual or 6-speed automated manual (AMT) gearboxes. There are rumors of a 6-speed Aisin-sourced torque converter option.
  6. Safety Features: Safety features such as a rearview camera, parking sensors, speed alert, all four disc brakes, seven airbags, ABS, and EBD will continue to be part of the package.

The 2024 Mahindra XUV300 facelift will compete with models like the Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, and Kia Sonet in the sub-4m SUV segment. The updates in design and features are aimed at keeping the XUV300 competitive in this highly competitive market.
