Mahindra To Deliver 7,000 Units of Scorpio-N in 10 Days!

Mahindra is India’s largest SUV manufacturer. With each new SUV launch, the order books fill to levels that make it difficult for the company to keep up. These large bookings, combined with a shortage of critical parts, have resulted in a backlog of pending orders, resulting in wait times of up to 24 months for some models and variants.

While Mahindra has 1.40 lakh bookings for its Thar, XUV700, and Bolero, the newly launched Scorpio N set new records with over 25,000 bookings in 1 minute and over 1,00,000 bookings in under 30 minutes, bringing the company’s total SUV orders to 2.40 lakh units.

The Mahindra Thar receives 5,000 bookings per month, while the XUV700 receives another 10,000 bookings per month. The XUV300 also has 13,000 open bookings, with approximately 6,200 new bookings added each month. This has resulted in a 24-month waiting period for the XUV700, despite the fact that cancellations account for only 10% of all orders. Mahindra Thar has a 7-8 month waiting period.

Deliveries of the new Mahindra Scorpio N will begin on September 26th, 2022, with the Z8L variant being prioritised. The average wait time for the first 25,000 bookings will be only 4 months.

Mahindra announced today that they will deliver 7,000 units of the Scorpio N within the first 10 days. That means by Dussehra, more than 7,000 new Scorpio Ns will be on Indian roads. The delivery timeline for the first 25,000 bookings will be communicated through CRM channels beginning tomorrow, while customers beyond the first 25,000 bookings will be communicated their estimated delivery period within the next 10 days.

The Scorpio N, which was just released, has become the fastest SUV to reach 1 lakh bookings. It only took the automaker 30 minutes to become famous. The Scorpio N will be sold alongside the current generation Scorpio, which has been renamed Scorpio Classic and boasts contemporary styling, multiple engines and transmission options, and a slew of cutting-edge features and connectivity technology.
