The Mahindra XUV700 is the Indian automaker’s most expensive model. The SUV is widely accessible in four model levels, with five and seven-seat options: MX, AX3, AX5, and AX7. Starting with the base-spec MX version, the wait time is six to eight weeks. The AX3 and AX5 trims, on the other hand, have delivery times of up to six and 11 weeks, respectively. Customers will have to wait 15 to 21 weeks and 20 to 25 weeks for the top-spec AX7 and AXL models, respectively, for delivery. Notably, the wait times for the petrol and diesel models are comparable.
Two powertrain options are available for the mechanical XUV700: a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol and a 2.2-liter diesel engine. The former is calibrated to provide 380Nm of torque and 197bhp. The diesel mill, on the other hand, has a maximum torque of 450 Nm and 182 horsepower. The engines are matched to either a six-speed torque converter gearbox or a six-speed manual transmission. In the meantime, the AWD system is an option for the top-spec diesel versions.
