Maruti Fronx is a crossover SUV that was on display at the 2023 Auto Expo. It is a sub-4 metre vehicle that Maruti is positioning between the Grand Vitara and Baleno in the NEXA portfolio. It has now been introduced and the price ranges from Rs 7.46 to Rs 13.13 lakh ex-showroom, introductory.
It is powered by two brand-new K-Series engines: a 1.0L Turbo Boosterjet Direct Injection engine with Progressive Smart Hybrid and an advanced 1.2L K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine. The crossover vehicle is offered in four different types with a variety of trims to suit a range of price points and feature needs.
The Fronx feature list varies depending on the trim level. The new Fronx comes with a rich array of capabilities. It has a redesigned front grille with chrome elements and headlamps with LED DRLs and many reflectors. The 16-inch alloy wheels with precision-cut spokes and front and rear faux skid plates, as well as the squared-off wheel arches. Moreover, it has chrome accents on the spoiler, a shark fin antenna, and a window line. Further features include a rear defogger, keyless entry, and reverse parking sensors.
Two colours are used in the interior design. With certain additions, the technology and functions for the driver and passengers on board will be based on those found on the Baleno. The Maruti Suzuki Fronx Crossover’s 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine produces 147 Nm of torque and 100 horsepower. The 1.2 litre NA petrol engine with 90 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque will be available. The available transmissions are the 5-speed MT, 6-speed AT, and 5-speed AMT.
