Maruti Suzuki India Limited intends to launch three new SUVs in the domestic market over the next few months. All made their debut in January at the 2023 Auto Expo in Greater Noida.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx

The Maruti Suzuki Fronx will go on sale in India sometime next month, through Nexa dealerships. The compact coupe SUV is based on the Heartect platform and is based on the Baleno premium hatchback. The front fascia of the fronx is inspired by the Grand Vitara. Fronx shares the same wide stance and road presence that the Baleno is known for.

It will come with two engine options: a 1.2L NA petrol and a 1.0L three-cylinder turbo petrol. Maruti will offer both manual and automatic transmission systems with the Fronx. The Fronx will be packed with features on the inside and will be available at a wide range of prices.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny

Maruti Suzuki Jimny has larger proportions when compared to the 3-door model sold in international markets. As a result, it will be more spacious and functional. Suzuki intends to export the five-door Jimny from India. It will come standard with a 1.5L four-cylinder K15B petrol engine. It will be paired with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed torque converter AT driving all four wheels.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG

The Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG will also be available in the coming months. It will be the first model in its segment to receive the bi-fuel treatment, with a focus on high mileage. MSIL will offer it in a variety of flavours to entice customers. The 1.5L mild hybrid petrol engine will be retained, but with reduced power and torque.
