By Maruti Suzuki has launched the Invicto MPV (rebadged Toyota Innova Hycross) in India, with prices starting at Rs. 24.79 lakhs (ex-showroom). The Invicto was previously expected to be called the Engage. Reservations for the Invicto began last month for Rs 25,000, with delivery set to begin soon.The Maruti Suzuki Invicto will rival the Hyundai Alcazar, Kia Carens, Mahindra XUV700, Tata Safari, and Toyota Innova Hycross.
The Invicto MPV comes in two models: Zeta Plus and Alpha Plus. The Zeta Plus version comes in 7- and 8-seater combinations, whilst the Alpha Plus variant comes in just 7-seater configurations. Consumers can select from four different colours: Mystic White, Majestic Silver, Nexa Blue, and Stellar Brown.
A 2.0-litre petrol engine powers the Maruti Suzuki Invicto. This engine with an e-CVT produces 172 hp and 188 Nm of torque on all trims. It is also available with a hybrid motor that generates an additional output of 12 hp and 206 Nm of torque. The brand claims a fuel efficiency figure of 23.24 km/l for this new MPV.
The new Invicto has a refreshed exterior design that includes a new grille with two chrome slats, redesigned front and rear bumpers, horizontally aligned LED DRLs, tweaked LED headlamps and tail lights, and new 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. The 2023 Invicto MPV has a spacious and comfortable interior that is equipped with a host of features.
