Maruti Suzuki Jimny Production Begin in India – 1st Unit Rolls Out!

As soon as the first Maruti Jimny leaves the factory in Gurugram, Haryana, production may begin. After a lengthy wait, the 5-door Jimny is now about to travel the Indian roads.

A white range-topping trim is the first product to leave the manufacturing facility. Early June will see the release of the price, and deliveries will start at the same time. When the Jimny was first unveiled to the public in its 5-door guise in January, Maruti Suzuki, the largest automaker in India, began taking reservations. Since then, the business has accumulated almost 25,000 reservations.

The most popular hues are Pearl Arctic White, Kinetic Yellow, and Bluish Black. It will be sold through their exclusive dealer network Nexa. The Maruti Jimny’s waiting time could be up to 8 months. The car will be sold in 7,000 units for the domestic market and the remaining units will be exported from India to other nations.

A single 1.5-litre normally aspirated petrol engine will power the Maruti Jimny. The motor can generate a max power of 105 BHP and 134 Nm of peak torque. Both a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic gearbox will be offered. It will be equipped with 4WD as standard. There will be two trim levels for the compact SUV: Zeta and Alpha. It will contend with Mahindra Thar and Force Gurkha in the off-road market.
