By Maruti Suzuki, a leading automobile manufacturer in India, has initiated changes to the pricing of its car models, effective from January 2024. These alterations encompass both increases and decreases in the costs of various models, influenced by factors such as the type of vehicle and its features.
Maruti Fronx Variants: Nuances in Upward and Downward Revisions
The noteworthy adjustments pertain to the Maruti Fronx, a distinctive coupe-SUV in the company’s lineup. Specifically, select variants such as Sigma 1.2 MT, Delta 1.2 MT, Sigma 1.2 CNG, Delta 1.2 CNG, and Delta Plus 1.2 MT have experienced a price increase, with each variant now costing Rs. 5,000 more. Conversely, the Zeta 1.0 turbo 6AT and Alpha 1.0 turbo 6AT have undergone a downward revision, making them more economical with a price reduction of Rs. 10,000 each.
Insights into the Revised Fronx Prices and Enhanced Features
Post these adjustments, the Fronx coupe-SUV is now presented at a revised price range of Rs. 7.51 lakh to Rs. 13.13 lakh (excluding additional charges) depending on the chosen variant. This model offers an array of engine options, including a 1.2-litre NA petrol motor, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol mill, and a CNG version. Buyers can further customize their Fronx experience by selecting from various transmission options such as a five-speed manual, Auto Gear Shift (AGS), or a six-speed torque converter automatic unit.
Budget-Friendly Jimny: Strategic Price Adjustments
In tandem with the Fronx revisions, Maruti Suzuki has strategically made the Jimny more accessible by implementing a price cut of Rs. 10,000 for specific variants. This move aligns with the company’s commitment to offering diverse options that cater to a broader customer base, ensuring affordability without compromising on the Jimny’s distinctive features and capabilities.
