Tri-Nation Expedition: 5000 kms in 15 days in a Tata Nexon by Mittal Family

Mittal Family from Ghaziabad did a Tri-Nation Expedition, covering 5000 km in 15 days. A road trip to Nepal and Bhutan will be a dream for many but, dreams are meant to be a reality one day. Mittal's are one such family who undertook the drive from Ghaziabad, UP to Nepal and Bhutan through their successful road trip. S.P Mittal (63) and Shruti Mittal (58), with their son Shraiyans Mittal, embarked on this expedition. They started from Ghaziabad, entering Nepal via Banbasa border, driving in rain, through landslides, covering Lumbini, Pokhara, Kathmandu, Janakpur in Nepal via H01 and H06 and then, entering Bhutan via Jaigaon. They traveled a total of 5000 km in a span of 15 days. Their trip was nothing short of an adventure they say. Driving in heavy rains at night, off-roading in passes and, a puncture while crossing a river with the threat of rains looming over their head, they experienced it all. This trip was planned as a celebration of their marriage anniversary, which comes on 15th June. Their drive was 2017 Tata Nexon, which is also the first one to enter the boundaries of other countries. Tata Nexon is available with two powerful engine options, one of them being petrol turbocharged and the other, a diesel turbocharged motor. He has achieved the feat of riding more than 1000 miles in a single day on his Bajaj Avenger 220. The ride was 1754 km long, demanding complete dedication and focus on the road, both in the day as well as night riding. You can read more about it here.
