New 750cc Royal Enfield Motorcycle In The Making – Here Are The Details

Royal Enfield intends to add a 750cc motorcycle to its lineup in the coming years. The corporation has already started work on a new platform dubbed “R.” This new platform might be used to build a variety of 750cc versions.

Royal Enfield is developing a 750cc bobber motorcycle codenamed R2G. The project is led by the company’s tech centre in Leicester, UK. They are taking feedback from global markets, including India, North America, Europe, and the UK. The R2G is expected to be the largest motorcycle in Royal Enfield’s portfolio for decades and will sit right at the top of its product lines.

Royal Enfield’s 750cc motorcycle development comes at the right time as Harley-Davidson and Triumph are also preparing to launch their entry-midsize motorcycles in India.

Eicher Motors’ MD, Siddhartha Lal, has always stated that the company’s primary focus will be on the midsize motorbike sector. The creation of the 750cc motorcycle is an important step in this approach. It will round out the company’s powertrain lineup, which now includes 350cc to 650cc engines.

RE is reportedly developing a 750cc motorcycle, which is an iteration of its twin-cylinder 650cc engine. The new bike is designed to cater to key international markets like North America and Europe. It will be positioned there in the middle of large-sized premium motorcycles. The motorcycle is also expected to be an upgrade option for 350cc bike owners around emerging markets.

Sources say that if Royal Enfield creates anything bigger than 750cc, it is most likely to be an electric motorcycle. This is because electric motorcycles are becoming popular. Royal Enfield is looking to position itself as a leader in the electric motorcycle market.

Royal Enfield intends to release a variety of motorcycles for each of its engine platforms, which include 350cc, 450cc, 650cc, and 750cc. The Bobber 750 would be the first motorcycle to be launched with the all-new 2-cylinder 750cc engine, and numerous other concepts are also being considered.
