By Tata Motors has launched the Altroz iCNG, a CNG-powered variant of its popular hatchback. The Altroz iCNG is priced starting at Rs 7.55 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Altroz iCNG is powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Revotron engine. This BS6 phase 2 engine with a 5-speed manual transmission produces a max power of 73.5 bhp and a peak torque of 103 Nm.
The Altroz iCNG gets a dedicated CNG tank that has a capacity of 40 litres. The car claims to deliver a fuel efficiency of up to 25.55km/kg in the city and 29.41km/kg on the highway. The Altroz iCNG is available in six variants – XE, XM+, XM+ (S), XZ, XZ+ (S) and XZ+O (S). It is available in four colour options: Avenue White, Arcade Grey, Opera Blue, and Downtown Red.
