Royal Enfield Bobber 350 Spotted – Based On New Classic 350

Based on their new gen J-series chassis, Royal Enfield boasts an excellent 350cc lineup. According to Royal Enfield’s annual report, there is room for portfolio expansion. On the J series platform, at least two more motorcycles will be introduced.

Royal Enfield single-seat Classic 350 is already available in the market. They are also working on a Bobber 350 based on the Classic 350, which will have a few alterations. The very first RE Classic 350 Bobber test mule has been seen in Chennai. Almost everything that differs from the contemporary Classic 350 is seen in the image.

The key selling point of the Classic 350 motorcycle is its ability to balance. It combines old-world style with modern technology and riding dynamics. Royal Enfield is trying to keep a lot of it with the Bobber.

The wheelbase appears to be the same as on the Classic 350. The ride and handling characteristics of the Classic 350 are preserved. The only differences we can see are a new blackened and beefier exhaust, a longer handlebar, and black-out ORVMs. Along with blackened wire-spoke rims, teal-walled tyres, and a new set of rear taillights and indicators.

The recent test mule was photographed carrying emission testing equipment and the new exhaust. It appears to be a larger unit than the present Classic 350. The aperture of the exhaust tip is larger, which might unlock a bass-heavy audio experience.

The handlebar is tall and reminiscent of custom Western Choppers. It allows both an upright seating position as well as a relaxed rider’s triangle. A single seat appears to be comfortable enough. The 349cc air/oil-cooled engine with a 5-speed gearbox can produce a max power of 20.2 bhp and a peak torque of 27 Nm. ABS with dual channel could be standard on the upcoming Bobber.

The Jawa Bobber is priced at Rs 2,09,187 (ex-showroom) and the RE 350 Bobber is expected to be priced in the same range. The introduction is scheduled for later this year, and it will compete with Jawa Bobber and Perak.
